Setting up / Installation

For our internal testing, we use a typical Asus laptop with a screen resolution of 1366×768, a 64-bit version of Windows 10, 12GB of RAM, and an Intel Core I3-4005U processor clocked at 1.70 GHz. AIDA64 revealed the audio controller model (ALC233). However, we rebooted Windows and ran Driver Easy again. No Realtek update messages followed.

Step 1: Install Driver Easy on your computer, launch it, and hit the “Scan Now” button. Driver Easy will check for obsolete, corrupted, or missing drivers and report them all.

Our investigation revealed that in addition to official drivers from manufacturers, the driver database also includes user-created drivers that have earned Microsoft’s WHQL certification.
